Kate McGinley


Kate McGinley, is the Founder of DigitalStrategies.Design. Kate brings years of direct patient care experience along with over a decade of leading commercialization of digital tools in the healthcare industry. She is responsible for creating and leading innovative, market-oriented strategies to drive category creation, development, and financial performance of client firms.

Prior to starting DigitalStrategies.Design in 2019, Kate served multiple leading healthcare organizations as a senior AI strategy consultant, specializing in provider and payor innovation. She collaborated with organizations such as Partners, Memorial Hermann, Sutter, Cedars-Sinai, Centene, and multiple BCBS entities, as well as a major eCommerce retailer entering the healthcare market.

She began her career in healthcare digital transformation management within UPMC’s (University of Pittsburgh Medical Center) Enterprise Analytics program: a >$2 billion investment. She often speaks at startup conferences, particularly on the subject of pricing digital tools, and sales enablement for complex healthcare purchasing. She has been featured in numerous media outlets as a “business of information” thought leader. In 2011, CNN Money named her a “Top 10 Generation Next Entrepreneurs to Watch”, with her first company.

Kate has a BA from Pennsylvania State University, as well as a Marketing Strategy Certification from Cornell University, and an Entrepreneurship Certification from Harvard University.
